New Year New Things

Mommy was extremely delighted today because of Megan. Not only has Megan learned to nod her head for the past couple of days Megan also learned to purposely blink her eyes fashionably! Mommy has also finally heard Megan say the word Mommy! Mommy has been getting jealous because Megan says Daddy or Dada dada a lot but not Mommy. So now it's a joy to hear Mommy.

Today, Megan ate or more like tasted her first real fruit! It was a huge bright red fresh strawberry that Mommy bought from Nugget. Megan liked the taste of it and bit her gums on it. It stained Megan's new sweater from Lola but it was so worth it! After that, Mommy let Megan hold a clementine too and she tried eating it too but the skin was too thick. Mommy thought when Megan will be bigger her snacks will be fruits and no junk food! ha!

Tonight, Megan and Mommy layed beside each other in the bed and played. Megan copied Mommy's ba-ba ba-ba! Then eventually Mommy saw Megan grew tired. So Mommy started singing Megan a lullaby and it worked! Mommy is inlove with Megan every moment. So Mommy thought of a love song that her Mama taught her too and sing it too Megan...

Mommy had the greatest reward so far!

Megan learned to give Mommy smooches. At first Mommy thought it was an accident but Megan kept doing it everytime Megan is with Mommy. Megan did it to Lola too. Mommy's so proud of Megan. I guess Megan learned from Mommy because Mommy always kisses Megan.

Megan is teething now and does not want to be left alone ever. Poor Mommy had to take Friday to be with Megan. Megan also won't sleen in her crib, always had to be beside Mommy. Mommy hopes it's really just phase and will go away. Megan was seek too last weekend with stomatitis. Doctor said it is the season. Megan had sore throat, body aches, lymph nodes and fever. Daddy had to watch Megan from Monday till Tuesday. Doctor said it's supposed to last a week but Megan is very strong and got better by Wednesday. Mommy thinks there is still some left in Megan's body that is Megan always wanted to be with someone.

Megan loves pears gerber and carrots but carrots goes away so fast so Mommy had to stop the carrots for awhile.

Megan is able to say aba-aba...aba-abah, ananananana and ummm ummm. Megan calls the dog, Yayin umm umm and is very fond of her.
